Macroscopic types of superficial Early GI Neoplasias (Paris Classification)
Classification formulated by a group of international experts in the Paris workshop 2002 (Gastrointest Endosc 2003; 58 (6 suppl):S3-43. Review).
This classifies superficial neoplastic lesions and helps to predict the depth of their infiltration. All are type 0 lesion, i.e. superficial and potentially confined to the mucosa, with 3 basic types (I – III).
